The hotel is ideally located right on the beach with plenty of greenery and superb hospitality from the staff. The rooms, although in need of renovation, are comfortable and spacious. The dining options offer a wide variety of Indian, Sri Lankan, and European dishes but shine brightest with a generous and diverse spread. However, transport could be required to reach certain attractions in the town in the evening.
I was quite pleased with my stay at the hotel. The rooms, though needing a refresh, were spacious and well-appointed with efficient air conditioning. The pool area and beach were lovely, although swimming opportunities were limited by the currents and winds.
The hotel has spacious rooms like the Ke Dupleix bungalows with antique wooden furniture and a large bathroom with a bathtub, though they do reflect the age of the buildings. The service was genuine, friendly, and quick to fulfill requests. The location is excellent with a private beach, but transportation is required to reach sights and town in the evening. The dining experience offers a huge spread of Indian and continental dishes, and the facilities are well-organized.
